Order Firewood

Terms & Conditions
By ordering and accepting firewood ("Order") provided by 9820 Forestry, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Agreement"). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between the Customer and 9820 Forestry, and by requesting such services, the Customer acknowledges and accepts these terms in their entirety.

Scope of Services A cord of firewood is defined as one hundred twenty-eight (128) cubic feet, measured as a stack of wood approximately four feet (4') high, eight feet (8') long, and four feet (4') deep. Individual pieces of firewood generally measure between three (3) and four (4) inches in diameter and approximately sixteen (16) inches in length; however, the size of individual pieces may vary. Unless a specific composition of firewood is requested at the time of ordering, 9820 Forestry does not guarantee the species composition of each order.

Firewood Quality All firewood sold is harvested from dead trees and inspected for quality, including but not limited to moisture, mold, and insect infestation. 9820 Forestry does not guarantee the moisture content of individual firewood pieces.

Pre-split Rounds Rounds will be cut to approximately sixteen inches (16") long, but may vary between four to ten inches (4-10") in diameter. Quality of rounds, including but not limited to moisture content, mold, insect infestation or other conditions can not be guarunteed.

Customized Orders 9820 Forestry will make reasonable efforts to accommodate custom requests, including but not limited to: species composition and delivery timeline. However, 9820 Forestry does not guarantee the fulfillment of custom orders. Custom orders may be subject to adjusted pricing. 9820 Forestry will contact the Customer if custom order can not be accommodated.

Pricing 9820 Forestry reserves the right to adjust pricing at anytime. The Customer will receive their order at the price listed when ordered.

Delivery Unless a specific delivery timeframe is requested by the Customer, 9820 Forestry will deliver the firewood as soon as it is ready. If the order cannot be fulfilled within the anticipated timeframe, 9820 Forestry may propose an alternative delivery schedule. Free delivery is available to communities in Como, Jefferson, Hartsel, Fairplay, Alma, and Lake George. Deliveries outside of these areas will incur an additional delivery fee. Free delivery does not include stacking services. Stacking services are available for an additional fee. Firewood must be delivered to the Customer's property at a location adjacent to a driveway or a public roadway. Requests for delivery to a location on the Customer’s property that is not adjacent to a driveway or public roadway may be subject to additional fees.

Liability The Customer assumes all risks and liabilities associated with the storage and use of firewood purchased from 9820 Forestry, including but not limited to fire hazards and property damage.

Privacy and Confidentiality 9820 Forestry will not sell, share, or disclose the Customer's personal information collected during the sign-up process or through other means to any third party, except as required by law. 9820 Forestry may use aggregated, anonymized data, which does not identify the Customer individually, for internal purposes such as marketing, tax reporting, and statistical analysis,

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Colorado, and both parties agree to attempt to resolve any such dispute in good faith before pursuing any other legal remedy.
